Who is the event for?
The mission of Lift Leaders to see people activated. We exist to empower the raising of leaders in the Kingdom of God. Even though we have a strong emphasis on raising young leaders, we believe this is a generational task. So, anyone who is aspiring to be a better leader or raiser of leaders, this event is for you!
Christian leadership is as much spiritual as it is practical. In order to reflect this, there will be a balance of practice leadership input along with strong ministry times and encouragement. Typically the evening sessions will be more "ministry oriented and inspirational" and the day sessions will be geared more towards practical leadership input and teaching.
What are the electives?
Dina Lindgreen (BeFree): "Pioneering and Evangelism". Dina runs an inspiring ministry with Young people in Roskilde and Copenhagen which is defying the odds. Starting with just a vision and some hard work, she has really built something that is reaching hundreds of young people every week, in areas that others can't seem to go.
Jeppe Möglich (KBH Frikirke): "Theology in everyday life". Jeppe is a "Præste Aspirant" at Københavns Frikirke serving in a variety of areas. Having just finished a Masters Degree in Theology, he has a passion to see people activated in their everyday life by using their passion for theology and study rather than just leaving it in the academic classroom.
Esben Dulwich Engholm (OpenChurch Worship): "Worship and Leadership". Esben is the worship leader for OpenChurch which now has locations in Herning & Copenhagen, Denmark. Their team is leading a fresh and dynamic movement in the area of worship that is an inspiration to many churches. Esben has many years of experience leading worship teams and has some great insights into developing a fantastic worship culture.
